Televisions are developing like computers - becoming more complex with each generation. Now they have their own operating systems, the ability to access the Internet, and connect different devices. On the official Samsung website you can read about Smart View support for 4 types of devices:

1. Android phones and TV set-top boxes. Uploading is done traditionally on Google Play; the Android version must be at least 6.0.
2. Samsung smartphones and tablets. It is recommended to install the application in the official Galaxy Apps store (although you can also install it in the Play Store).
3. Apple devices. In the official App Store, iOS version from 7.0.
4. PCs and laptops. Download on the site itself using the link above. Technical requirements: Windows 7 or higher, 2 GB of RAM.

Important ! During installation, you may need to download a NetFramework update package. If you receive this message, you must confirm to download this package.

Once the download is complete, the application will appear in the list of utilities or on the desktop.

Possible problems

Sometimes situations arise when the Samsung Smart View application fails to work. Let's consider what to do if the following problems occur:

1. Smart View does not see or find the TV. The software needs to be updated. This situation often happens with models produced in 2011-2014: they already have support for Smart Hub, but they do not yet fall into the category of full-fledged Smart devices. 2. There is no established connection or the signal comes with a long delay. The problem can be solved by reducing the distance between the TV and smartphone or PC.
