New features in iOS 15
iOS 15 is officially unveiled. But don't expect anything radically new.
For example, after the presentation it became known about such features as:

iOS 14 beta
Before you find out, let us remind you once again that this update is intended only for software developers and testers. For everyone else, the public beta of iOS 14 will become available in July, which will be available to all participants in the public beta testing program.
If you decide to install the update, first of all save a backup copy so that in case of any problems you can restore from the backup. It is not uncommon for users to get bricked, not to mention crashes leading to memory formatting, and they have to revive their device by installing a backup. In addition, in our experience, more than half of those who install the first beta “roll back” the next day. Developers of third-party applications simply do not have time to update their programs to be compatible with the new iOS, so some applications may be unstable.
How to install iOS 15 beta and iPadOS 15 beta on iPhone and iPad using a beta profile
1. Open the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPod touch and follow this link to install iOS 15 on your iPhone or iPod Touch and this link to install iPadOS 15 on your iPad.
2. Click on the Download button.
3. In the pop-up window that appears, click Allow.
4. Launch the “Settings” application, click on the “Profile downloaded” menu item that appears or go to the “General” → “Profile” menu, select the downloaded iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 Beta Software Profile and click the “Install” button in the upper right corner .

Preparing the device
Before installing a new operating system, it is important to make a backup copy of your iPhone. This is necessary in case something goes wrong during installation, or you decide to roll back to iOS 14 for some reason.
On the device itself
1. Go to Settings -> Apple ID -> iCloud -> Backup.
2. Turn on the iCloud backup toggle switch and wait for it to finish.
Via iTunes
1. We connect the iPhone to the computer via wire and open iTunes.
2. At the top of the program, go to the section with your iPhone.
3. In the Automatically create copies section, select This computer.
4. Click Create a copy now and wait for the backup to complete.

Possible problems and their solutions
Since the software itself is quite crude, there are many possible problems with it.
The most common of them:

How to register an Apple developer account
We are complete amateurs in the IT field. We are not programmers or developers. But in order to realize our idea, we are ready to do a lot. Even understand the App Store rules. We are beginning producers at the School of Producing Mass Media Projects at the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
This year we came up with a new talent show format, XCE FACTOR, which will revolutionize the entertainment industry. This is a show in which there is no jury, casting and censorship. Any choice is made by viewers in the mobile application. In it, users can watch short, cool videos of talented people and, by swiping, decide whether a person is included in the show or not.
To implement the project, we need to publish a mobile application in the App Store. To do this, you must first register a developer account on the Apple Developer website using your Apple ID and pay for an annual subscription.
We created a new Apple ID in the name of our product manager Lisa, to our “branded” email. Using this ID, our iOS developer Vlad registered as an Apple Developer. We immediately received a joyful letter from Apple with a message that the order had been placed and within two business days we would be charged $99 - the annual cost of the subscription.
“And business?” - we thought.
But at the end of the second day we were no longer so inspired. Our payment request was canceled without explanation. But we didn’t give up and applied three more times. Unsuccessfully.
We decided to contact Apple support. We wrote a letter and called. If you find yourself in our place, we advise you to brush up on your English - the conversation will take place in this language. The support explained to us that the name of the Apple ID owner and the developer account must match.
Hooked on this information, we created a new Apple ID in Lisa’s name and registered her as a developer. But the payment again did not go through, the application was rejected. Just like the next two.
We received a standard response from Apple support: “Check your banking information.” We checked, everything is in order with the data. At this point we started to panic a little, because we were doing everything according to the instructions, but the registration was not going through.
Here the question crept in, maybe the problem is not with us, but with Apple? After reading the developer forums, we discovered that we are not the only ones who encountered this problem. It turned out that this was a worldwide failure and many developers could not pay or renew their accounts for weeks
We don't have time to wait for weeks. A large-scale talent show will be held in June, and in order for as many people as possible to participate, the application should be released in April. We urgently needed to come up with alternative ways to register an account.
We realized that it’s unlikely to be possible to register an account now and we need to look for developers who already have one. So, we met the cool guys from HSE APP who agreed to help us. For which we thank them very much.
But we didn’t give up hope of registering our own developer account. We decided to turn to our friend Stas, a professional application developer, for help and find out how to act in such a situation. Stas works for a large company Mobile Dimension, and he has extensive experience in developing, creating and promoting applications.
Stas suggested that we publish the application through their company and at the same time try to register an account using the personal ID that we use every day. We didn’t even consider this method, because all the articles said that it was better to create a new Apple ID account.
As a result, we were able to register an individual developer account through a personal Apple ID that was several years old. We registered the same person in an Apple ID account, Apple Developer, and indicated his personal banking information.
It is symbolic that it was on February 14 that we received confirmation of payment and a congratulatory letter informing us that we can now continue working and publish our application.
The entire process of registering an account took us about three weeks, from mid-January to February 14. During this time, we learned several useful things and want to share them with you. So, how to register an individual developer account when the App Store crashes:
- Start registering for a developer account as early as possible . Due to glitches like now, account registration can sometimes take a long time, so allow extra time.
- On an individual level, it is very important to register a developer account and Apple ID in the name of one person and indicate his banking information .
- Call Apple Support. It is much more efficient and faster than via mail. They offer specific solutions over the phone and promptly respond to complaints. It is very important that the owner of the developer account calls because support specialists work with personal data.
- Check with your bank whether payments for foreign purchases according to the information you provided.
- If possible, use your personal Apple ID . Apple trusts IDs that are several years old more.
- The payment card and the specific time of submitting the application do not matter!
