By the way, each of these browsers has so-called visual tabs, that is, a certain set of sites that the user can set independently.
You may find it more convenient to start with visual tabs opening. They look something like what is shown in Figure 6.

To add a tab here, you just need to click on the big plus, under which it says “Add site”.
Most often, such standard tabs are already built into browsers, and in order for the user to see a menu of tabs when starting, you should select an item in the settings called “Open start page”, “Show tab” or something similar.
In general, our task is to open a new tab, where these same visual bookmarks are located.
By the way, everyone can install an individual tab page - all search engines distribute installation files for their such panels for free.
The same applies to the Mozilla browser.
Opera
To automatically open the google.ru website when you launch the Opera browser, you must do the following:
- Press the “Menu” button in the browser (in some versions it is also called “Opera”, but this does not change its location), which is highlighted in red in Figure No. 1. After that, select “Settings” (highlighted in green in the same figure).
- In the settings, go to the “Basic” section (highlighted in red in Figure No. 2). It is located in the menu, which is located on the left side of the main window. Next, you should find the “At startup” section, where you select the “Open a specific page or several pages” (also sometimes called “Start from the home page”), which is highlighted in green in Figure No. 2.

- You also need to set the start page itself, which will automatically open when the program starts. To do this, click on the inscription “Set page” (highlighted in blue in Figure No. 2). After this, the window shown in Figure 3 will open. Enter “google.ru” in the input line and click OK.

Important! It is worth noting that the interface may differ slightly from the pictures shown above, but the meaning remains the same.

Yandex browser
Here the algorithm remains virtually unchanged, the only problem here is that there is simply no option to select the start page.
You can select the option to open a quick access page when you start the browser, but this tab will not be one, it will be a set of those same visual bookmarks.

And to add google.ru there, you should click on the “Add” button, which is highlighted in Figure No. 10.

If you have read the instructions above, but for some reason you want to change the main search engine to the original one or to another, then you should be told the following: this is done in a similar way, and you can change it as many times as you like, absolutely free. It is worth noting that the Opera browser also supports foreign search engines, including Yahoo, one of the most popular search engines in the world.

How to change your home page in Microsoft Edge
To get started, open Microsoft Edge . In the upper right corner you will see three dots “ … ”, click on them.
Go to Settings .
