Probably everyone knows about the existence of authorization systems from Google, Facebook and Twitter. They meet us on the registration page of almost all sites, allowing us to become a registered user by pressing just one button. This login method is very convenient because it does not force us, firstly, to come up with a unique login-password pair, and, secondly, to remember them, which can often be even more difficult. About a year ago, another one was added to the already existing authorization systems - from Apple, which was available only on the company’s own devices, but over time it reached Android.

Unlike other authorization systems, Apple’s own solution immediately claims an ultra-high level of security. I’ll be honest: I don’t know what’s super high about it, but in general, “Sign in with Apple” is clearly more reliable and safer for the end user than what Google, Facebook, Twitter and others offer.
How to open iCloud from Android or someone else's iPhone or iPad
The update will be most appealing to owners of Android smartphones who are also users of Apple services. Thanks to this, even on a device with Google's operating system, things like Apple's Notes are now available. Access to the service via a browser has also been simplified. Now you can try to find your missing smartphone from a friend’s phone. However, some features may not work.
The new user interface is available now on iCloud.com, although for now it's limited to just the four aforementioned services: Notes, Photos, iCloud Drive, Reminders, and Find My iPhone.
Other iCloud features, such as Contacts, Calendar or the iWork suite of apps, are not yet available on the new mobile site, nor is the full Find My app (Find Friends and Find My iPhone). Apple will likely add support for them in the near future.
Mobile device support works really well. In Notes you can create new items, edit and delete existing ones. Synchronization between iOS / macOS and iCloud.com in a mobile browser is sometimes delayed, and you have to refresh the page. However, not all functions work correctly in Chrome for Android: you can create a note, but not edit it. There is a problem with scrolling the list. But browsers from Samsung and Firefox work much better.
Reminders work smoothly in both Chrome for Android and Safari. You can add your own reminders to the list, change their name and appearance. But you won’t be able to create a new list; you’ll have to work with an existing one.
Working with the Photos and iCloud Drive apps is the best part of the mobile browser upgrade. Now you can view your entire iCloud photo library, as well as files and folders, delete unnecessary items, move them to albums, upload photos directly from your smartphone, and even create a sharing link. On Android you can even view Live Photos, which is very unusual. Interestingly, when an image is fully open, you can swipe down to go back to all photos. It's nice to see such a feature in action, even on Android.
The Find My iPhone app allows you to not only track all devices connected to your Apple ID, but also play sounds on them remotely. Even with Android you can now do this, as well as erase device memory remotely and check the battery status.
If you open iCloud.com from your iPad, you'll also have access to Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and other services. The fact is that in iPadOS the browser is able to work in desktop mode, offering the same version of the site as for Mac.
The Account Settings feature is also available on the mobile web version of iCloud.com. This allows you to find out how much storage space is left, external links for Apple ID, language and formats, devices that were included in iCloud, you can use data recovery functions.

How to find and reset your password
If you lose your password, don't worry, it can be recovered or reset using the iForgot tool. To protect the information stored in your account, you will have to recover the password yourself. To avoid problems in the form of illegal use of your credit card, you should not tell anyone your password details.
If you repeatedly try to sign in to the App Store online using an incorrect password, you will see a notification on your screen that says “This Apple ID has been blocked for security reasons.”
Important! To reset your password, you should use the iForgot tool.
What's the benefit of using Sign in with Apple?
As long as you are still working in the selected program or service, notifications from them are not particularly disturbing. Letters rarely arrive, and the information in them can be useful (discounts, new features, reminders). Over time, the service no longer needs us, but at the same time it still offers its services, and this mailing becomes like spam. Sometimes an address ends up on mailing lists, from which it is no longer possible to unsubscribe.
If you use “Sign in with Apple” authorization, this problem can be easily solved. It is enough just to prohibit forwarding from the virtual mailbox to your main one.
And it’s also easy to revoke authorization for an application.
When performing this action in Settings, you can also delete other outdated registrations at the same time. Interestingly, even without an Apple device, the created registration can be used on other devices. The only thing that will be lost is convenience, since you will have to enter your login and password.
Isn't it convenient to feel that you are responsible for the safety of your data? Of course, Apple also has access to them, but here you have to trust this company - if it starts trading information about its users, then its reputation will come to an end.
For the user, the function brings only advantages, but the developers are not particularly happy. They lose part of their legitimate earnings in the form of information - the user remains unidentified. It is no coincidence that in 2019 in America, some retail chains even refused to accept Apple Pay for payment, since this payment system interfered with the collection of additional information about customers.
The function motivates users to register for services without fear for their privacy. Sign in with Apple is quickly becoming a favorite tool for keeping your data safe. It is no coincidence that in many popular applications with the ability to register in this way, it becomes the second most popular after the traditional one, using your email.
It’s not difficult to explain – a good and convenient function is in demand. And the developers themselves may well receive data about their users in the process of long-term and beneficial cooperation for all parties. For example, a ticketing service will still receive the buyer's first and last name during the checkout process. Delivery services will ask for a real mobile phone number to coordinate a time. But users are often not ready to give out such information immediately, even at the registration stage. This is leading to an increase in the number of logins using Sign in with Apple.

Login to your personal account
To log into your Apple ID account you need:
- On your mobile device, select the App Store tab.
- In the form that opens, click on the inscription “Apple ID”.
- On the new page, enter your login and password in the appropriate lines.
- Now you can use the functionality of your personal account.

When setting up a laptop or desktop PC for the first time, the system will prompt you to log into Apple ID, or if it doesn’t exist yet, register a new one.
All that the user needs to authorize is to provide the e-mail that was specified during registration as a login; password; and, if the program deems it necessary, answer the security question.
This procedure cannot be skipped. If the user does not have constant access to the Internet (during the initial setup), then care should be taken to register an Apple ID and log in later. This can be done through the official website.
