This simple instruction contains two ways to get a text list of all programs installed in Windows 10, 8 or Windows 7 using built-in system tools or using third-party free software.
Why might this be needed? For example, a list of installed programs can be useful when reinstalling Windows or when purchasing a new computer or laptop and customizing it for yourself. Other scenarios are also possible - for example, to identify unwanted software in a list.
