Often, when using a computer for a long time, it begins to work slower, and standard processes may malfunction. Or you need to properly turn off the equipment at the end of the working day.
With this shutdown option, all service data of the operating system and programs are deleted from the computer’s memory.
Below we will describe several ways to turn off a system unit running the Windows 10 operating system. But almost all of the options listed are universal for different versions of operating systems.

In the lower left corner, on the taskbar, you need to click the “ Start ” button, go to the “ Shut down ” item, and then select the item of the same name in the pop-up menu.
After this, your equipment will be turned off. If the mouse is not available, click on the “ Windows ” -> “ Tab ” button (The combination can definitely be used on Windows 10 OS build 15063.540) and use the arrow buttons to get to the desired item.

Forced shutdown of a computer or laptop
This method should only be used in the most extreme situations (for example, if the laptop completely freezes or does not turn off completely, or there is an endless update), since with frequent use some PC components may fail (for example, the hard drive) .
Press and hold the on/off button on your system unit or laptop for a few seconds. The PC will shut down instantly.
Something similar can be done if you turn off the power supply on the back of the system unit or even disconnect the system unit from the outlet. And this can be compared to a laptop if you unplug the power cord and remove the battery for a while.
For Windows 8, we would like to note that if there is no shutdown button in the Start menu, try applying all updates through Windows Update. After reboot, the buttons will automatically appear.
