Still, we want to use a full-fledged service, and not just a file warehouse.

Therefore, if this is not enough for you, then it is better to use the mail cloud. There, on each account you are given 25 gigabytes of disk space for free. This is the easiest way to increase cloud volume from Yandex. It's quite simple. You create several accounts at once, Yandex gives each of them 10 GB. space. You remember where you uploaded certain information or various courses, books, etc. In this case, it is advisable to write down which disk you filled with this or that data.
Of course, this path is a little dreary. You need to constantly monitor what you put and where. Also, you will have to constantly log out of a certain account and enter your login and password into another. It's the same with a smartphone. I'll tell you straight - it's boring. In addition, this method creates inconvenience in synchronizing your account and PC. In this case, it is better to create a Mail email account, since this search engine gives not 10, but as much as 25 GB. Google gives 15 GB. disk space. But, if you have little information that needs to be uploaded to the cloud, this method is quite acceptable, especially on a Mail account.
Method 1. Buying space
The simplest and most likely method is to purchase, or rather rent, additional memory. Yes, many are suffocated by the idea of buying extra gigabytes on cloud space, and not forever. But if you use this service constantly, the price will not be that high, especially if you take it for a year at once.
If you take the average tariff, then you will have to pay only 80 rubles for a month of use (most people spend this money on a pack of cigarettes or a bottle of beer), or you can pay 800 rubles at once (2 months as a gift) and use it for a whole year without strain.

Method 2. Promotions
From time to time, Yandex runs various promotions, thanks to which you can get additional gigabytes of cloud space forever and free of charge. Not so long ago, for example, teachers and students were given 32 GB free forever. It was enough just to take a scan or photo from the center page of your student card or pass.
Also, there was a promotion when, in order to get the same 32 gigabytes, it was enough to enable auto-uploading of photos from your mobile phone to Yandex disk. Moreover, it could then be turned off and not used at all. Personally, this is how I got my additional 32 gigabytes. But, unfortunately, such a feature was available only at the very beginning of the journey.
Sometimes the promotion includes the purchase of any devices such as tablets, laptops, smartphones or flash drives. And Yandex gives you 50, 100 and even 250 gigabytes forever for this. You just need to constantly monitor the shares, otherwise you can miss them.
Unfortunately, the last promotion that was relevant ended in December 2022, and there have been no new ones yet in 2022. But this does not mean that there will be no more of them. Just remember to watch the news.

Over time, the number of photos, backups and other useful files on your computer or mobile phone increases. At the same time, the 10 Gigabyte capacity is quickly running out and the question arises: how can you increase the disk capacity?
The easiest option that comes to mind is to create a new Yandex mail, where there will be another 10 gigabytes on the new Yandex.Disk. If you have two or more accounts on Yandex, then you will have two or more Yandex.Disks. The number of such mailboxes with access to cloud disks is unlimited.

Files that a user deletes from his Yandex.Disk first go to the trash can. They also take up space there. To free up disk space, the first step is to empty the Recycle Bin.
