In short, open Mi Fit, go to Profile > Mi Band 2 > Disable .

You can log in to the application only after creating an account. The program offers 2 ways to register it: via email and mobile phone number.

In the first case, the algorithm of actions will be as follows:

  • selecting the current location (if the user wants to skip this step, click the “Next” button);
  • agreement with the Privacy Policy (check the “Accept” field);
  • creating an account (by logging into We Chat, Google, Facebook);
  • authorization (you need to select your country or region of residence, and then enter your work email address);
  • creating a Mi account by pressing the corresponding button;
  • password selection (alphanumeric code of no more than 16 characters);
  • password duplication;
  • entering a captcha (in the Captcha field, repeat the numbers or letters shown in the verification picture);
  • account activation (using the “Login” button).

The second method involves registering through a mobile phone number. In this case, the procedure will be similar, only at the “Authorization” step you will need to enter a phone number instead of an email. After this, the system will require you to enter a captcha, and at the end of the registration procedure - personal data.

Next, the program will ask you to select the number of steps that must be taken per day. This value will be monitored every day. The next point, the utility will prompt the user to choose which device he wants to connect: a watch, a fitness bracelet or smart sneakers.

After checking the box next to the bracelet, you need to bring it to your smartphone in order to start the synchronization process. The end signal will be a slight vibration of the tracker. You can turn it off by pressing the touch button on the device display.

At this point, the authorization connection process will be completed and the user can proceed to individual device settings.

To work with the application, we chose the Mi Body Composition Scale, which measures 9 body indicators:

Natalya Fadeeva, a nutritionist-endocrinologist and candidate of medical sciences, says in her book “Too Slim” that it is best to measure your weight in the morning. According to her, one should step on the scale on an empty stomach and after the morning toilet - at this point a person’s weight is minimal, since no food has entered the body during the night.

The current weight is displayed at the top of the screen. To see the dynamics over several days, go to the “Weight” tab. Here the graph displays all changes in weight at each measurement. However, the information that is collected in the “Body Assessment” section looks much more interesting and clearer. Mi Fit gives an overall score, and below is a breakdown of all points based on the user’s physical data. In our case, we set 180 centimeters, current weight – 60.4 kg, age – 33 years.

Body fat level

For such height and weight, the volume of muscle mass should not be lower than 49.5 kg. The application suggests that you should pay attention to nutrition and exercise. In general, for a healthy person aged 25 to 40 years, the volume of muscle mass should be 35-45 percent of the total mass.

Body mass index

Calculated using the formula: weight (kg)/height (m) squared. Please note that this indicator is quite indirect, since even with a standard BMI, people can have a lot of fat and little muscle mass. To find your BMI, use our table:

Body water level

The norm for an adult is from 55 to 70%. The optimal water intake is an individual thing and is calculated using a simple formula:

Water rate (l) = 3% Body weight (kg)

  • click on the “Connect device” button;
  • Select Band from the provided list of accessories;
  • after the application makes a request to press the fitness bracelet, it is enough to lightly tap the device with your finger;
  • wait for the operation to complete and the corresponding notification.

Important! After binding, installation of updates to the currently current version will automatically begin. To facilitate the operation of the device, you need to place the fitness tracker as close to the phone as possible. Once the update download is complete, the user interface will appear on the display.

Controls

1. Display. The display of the Mi Band fitness tracker is used to display information. This is a monochrome OLED panel. In version 3 of the bracelet, the display has a touch layer for gesture control.

2. Function button. It is used to interact with the device. Control occurs by pressing and holding the button.
