A SIM card can be blocked for various reasons.
A SIM card with a subscriber number remains operational for 1 year.
When a negative or zero balance is reached, the period of use of the Beeline number can reach:
- 180 days (if going into negative territory);
- 255 days (with small debt or zero balance);
- 365 days in case the balance is zero and all paid additional services are disabled.
If the PIN code is entered incorrectly
The PIN code protects the SIM card from fraudsters. As a rule, this protection is established by the subscriber himself and is confidential information. If the code numbers are lost, the MegaFon operator will not be able to provide them either when contacting the company in person or over the phone. The subscriber must write down the created number on the contract or in notes so as not to block the SIM card by mistake.
The user is given three attempts to enter the PIN code. If you fail to enter the correct numbers three times, the number will be blocked until the PUK code is entered.
Disabling an unused number
Cellular operators block the SIM card if it is not used for a long period of time. Any action - sending an SMS, calling or accepting someone else's call - resets the period of inactivity, after which the blocking occurs.
The Beeline operator has its own conditions for disabling a subscriber number:
- The subscriber's inactivity in the first 90 days passes without any consequences for the number.
- Starting from the 91st day, the operator begins to debit funds from the positive balance (5 rubles per day).
- Once the balance reaches zero, the number will still belong to the owner for 180 days.
- With further non-use of the operator’s services, the contract agreement with the client is terminated and the SIM card is disconnected.
There can be a lot of reasons why people temporarily do not show subscriber activity
For example, you were away (went on vacation, worked in another country, or simply left your hometown for a couple of months. And now you come home, “turn on” your native SIM card, and they tell you that it is not active? What should you do? in this case? You need to contact the support center (salom mobile communications Megafon), where they will advise you and explain what your next steps are.
Representatives of the Megafon company reported that in most cases the SIM card can be restored without problems. If your card is blocked, you can contact a Megafon representative at any time and your number will be restored.
In what cases can a new SIM card be blocked?
The main reason for blocking a new card is an error in indicating your passport data when signing the agreement. From 2022, all mobile operators will verify the accuracy of the information provided in order to prevent fraud.
However, there are other reasons for blocking:
- sending spam by the subscriber (spam can also be understood as misuse of a number);
- non-activation of the phone for 240 days (the period during which you can not use the card is specified in the contract);
- suspicion that the SIM card was stolen or was reissued without the subscriber’s knowledge.
Workarounds:
- You can try to change the IMEI number of your smartphone (i.e. reflash it), but this will not work with Apple products! I’ll say right away that this is not the best option, since after flashing the device, your device will still be blocked in 6 months, your gadget will lose its warranty, and the new IMEI number assigned will most likely be from a stolen phone.
- The easiest way to buy a Turkish gadget, but they are more expensive here, about 20% than in the Russian Federation.

Voluntary blocking and its reasons
If the phone is lost or stolen, the subscriber can block his number to prevent an attacker from using it.
To do this, it is worth connecting, which will eliminate the possibility of using mobile communications if necessary. The service can be activated in your “Personal Account” or during a visit to the office.
Do I need to report any data?
You need to be prepared to give your last name, first name and patronymic so that a Beeline employee can identify the owner of the SIM card. When visiting a cell phone store, you must have a passport or a notarized power of attorney from the owner of the phone to block it.
Duration of temporary blocking
The activity of the subscriber number can be restored at any time at the request of the card owner. In this case, the maximum allowable blocking period for Beeline is 3 years. When reactivating the card, a contract for the provision of services is not signed - a written application indicating your personal data is sufficient.
Will they charge a subscription fee for a blocked number?
For the first 90 days, no fee is charged to the subscriber account. From the 91st day onwards, upon reaching a zero balance, 5.5 rubles will be debited daily. In some cases (during long-term blocking), the subscription fee may be different - it is better to check details at any Beeline office.

How and where to get an NCK code for Beeline phones
Each cellular operator offers its customers to buy a mobile device of its own brand for a nominal price and with a bunch of additional bonuses. The other side of the coin is that the gadget only works with a SIM card from a given operator.
You can change the number if you wish, but the operator cannot; the smartphone will definitely ask for an unlock code. The NCK code for Beeline phones also exists and how you can get it is described below.
What is NCK code
Locked gadgets help preserve the copyrights of the companies selling them and increase the number of their subscribers by attracting them with the cheapness of the devices. For example, after purchasing a Beeline smartphone, using a card from any other operator in it is impossible.
Immediately after switching on, the phone will ask for an NCK code to unlock it. Initially, such protection was invented in the USA, where the required set of numbers could be purchased for a separate fee directly along with the device. Locked smartphones purchased there are now being sold on our market.
How to get the code
If you wish, you can pick up NCK at the Beeline office. To do this, you need to write a corresponding application using the form provided to a company employee. The disadvantage of this method is the need for additional payment. If the phone is received as a gift, the pleasant impressions immediately fade.
The second option is to unlock the gadget yourself. Required:
- Download the archive with the unlocking utility.
- Disable antivirus on your device.
- Run the program.
- Select your phone brand and model from the list on the screen.
- In the resulting window, enter the IMEI of the device.
- Activate numeric cipher generation.
The resulting NCK must be written down and saved on another device or piece of paper.
How to enter a code into your phone
Now, to unlock the Beeline device, you need to enter the code into the smartphone after turning it on with another SIM card. Be sure to reboot the mechanism to save the settings.
What to do if the code does not match
This happens in certain phone models that do not provide unlocking at all - there are no technical capabilities for this yet.
If the described methods did not help to launch a specific model, then you will have to resort to a universal method. Reflashing the smartphone erases all operator settings and frees the gadget.
In any case, the service will be paid. No service provides NCK or unlocking utilities for free. And also for the work you need to pay the master according to his tariffs.
Is it possible to get an NCK code to unlock phones?
If the phone you bought does not work with a SIM card from another operator, this does not mean that you cannot unlock it. In America, it is possible to obtain an NCK code for installing a new SIM card, but only for a fee. Russian operators, apparently, do not have such codes.
But on the Internet you can find many different organizations that, for your money, offer their services for unlocking phones that require NCK codes. Of course, we do not vouch for their work and integrity, but here we can say for sure that you will have to fork out some money. Unfortunately, we do not know any free methods for obtaining NCK codes.
How to restore SIM card service
To restore a blocked or lost SIM card, you need to contact the Beeline service office or call 0611 or 8-800-700-0611 and leave a request for a duplicate.
It is also possible to do everything via the Internet:
- Write a letter in which you should indicate your passport details and telephone number for feedback.
- Write the application in free form, without following any template. The main thing is that it needs to be sent to Beeline support email ( [email protected] ).
- The courier will bring a new SIM card. You only need to pay for delivery.
- Restoring a subscriber number via the Internet is not available in some regions of the country. It is better to check with the support service for details.
When will the number be restored?
If activation occurs through the “Personal Account” using , then the number is restored instantly.
If a SIM card is duplicated in the office, the recovery time depends on the tariff plan.
On average, if you contact Beeline support in a timely manner, recovery takes from a few minutes to 1-2 days.
Maximum period of inactivity
After the card is restored, all standard conditions established by the Beeline operator apply to it. Those. If there is no activity for 180 days, the SIM card will be forcibly blocked and the contract with the subscriber will be terminated.
How long will it take to reissue
Ordering a new card by phone or online takes on average from 1 to 3 days. When visiting a mobile communications office in person, re-issuing a SIM card may take several minutes (provided that the subscriber has already submitted a request to restore the SIM card).
When replacing, not only the phone number is saved, but also the balance, tariff plan, as well as all connected services.
Sometimes a communication store may refuse to reissue a client, especially if we are talking about old-style SIM cards (issued before 2013). This may be due to debt, a mismatch of subscriber data, or the fact that the ported number is registered in another subject of the Russian Federation.

Using "Personal Account"
To block a SIM card, you must log into your “Personal Account”.
The procedure will look like this:
- Enter your login (phone number in 10-digit format, instead of “+7” enter “8”).
- Dial *110*9# from your phone to receive a temporary password. It will arrive via SMS a few seconds after the message is sent.
- If several numbers are registered for a subscriber at once, call the support service (88007000611, free call) or contact the nearest communication center.
It is also possible to disable a SIM card in a situation where the contract is registered for an individual with a prepaid payment system. You need to dial *213# on your phone - this will block the number from which the command is sent.

If you cannot log into your “Personal Account”, you should block the number by calling the support service. Any of the numbers is suitable for this: 0611, 88007000611 and 09212.
In a conversation with an employee of the communication salon, the subscriber must provide his passport details (full name) and year of birth.
