While traveling on the Internet I often see images that I want to save. Especially a lot of such pictures are published on social networks. It is not always easy to immediately understand how to store them correctly. If I don't do this, I'll miss out on a lot of interesting things. In fact, in order to correctly copy pictures to your phone, you only need to follow a few simple rules.
How to download videos from Yandex to your computer?
If you use the Yandex browser, the best resource for searching videos is Yandex Video. It is convenient because you can watch videos directly from the search page without going to third-party sites.
There are two convenient ways to download your favorite video to your computer:
— Download Master is the installation and most popular program. It has such a useful function as restoring the download after an unexpected interruption. The first thing you need to do is find this program on the Internet and install it on your personal computer (installation instructions are included on almost every distributor website).
Now that the program is installed and ready to use, launch it. Then go to the video section, which is located on the start page of your Yandex browser. The next step for you is to select the video you need and open it.
Now right-click on the video you have selected (with this action you open an additional context menu) and find the line “Copy video URL”, now click on this line with the left mouse button.
Now go to the open Download Master program and in the left corner find the “Add” link, which looks like a “Plus” icon. After this, you will see an additional window into which you need to paste the link you copied earlier. You can also additionally select the resolution of the downloaded video. But it should be noted that if the video is of a lower resolution than the one you specified in the settings, the lower resolution will be downloaded.
And the third step is to click on the “Start downloading” button.
Important: The default folder where the video will be downloaded is located at: My computer / Drive “C” / “Your account name” / RXNDownloads / Video. But you can set your path to the folder you want.
Now all you have to do is wait for the download to complete.
— S avefrom.net. This online service differs from others in its simplicity and enormous functionality. Another advantage is that savefrom does not require installation on your computer.
The first thing you will need to do is complete the initial steps described in the first method. That is, from Yandex Video, select the video you need, open it by clicking the left mouse button, then by clicking the steam button on the opened video, call up the context menu and copy the URL link.
The second step will be opening the official website of this online service, which is located at. After that, in the tab that opens, find the desired “Search Line” and paste it into the link you did not copy. Now click "Download".
Next, when the service recognizes the desired video, you will be asked to select the formats and extensions available for downloading. Click on the desired one and in a moment the video file will begin downloading.
Installing live wallpaper
With the help of HTC developers, live wallpapers have become very popular. They differ from static ones in that the picture is in motion. Clouds float across the sky, the sun's rays occasionally peek through the foliage of the forest, its inhabitants run around the anthill, the curtains on the window sway from time to time... In short, live wallpaper is no longer an ordinary image saved in JPEG format. But this is not a GIF animation - it is something more complex. Therefore, live wallpapers are usually distributed as separate applications.
You can find and install live wallpapers using the Play Market. In most cases, they are distributed completely free of charge. Most often, such wallpaper only needs to be installed; no other actions are required from the user (although sometimes some settings are still entered).
Please note: live wallpapers load the processor quite heavily and consume energy. If your smartphone has a weak battery and not the best characteristics, then you should abandon live wallpapers.
How to download videos from Yandex to your phone?
The best option for this would be to save the video you want to your PC or laptop using any of the methods described above, which is described in detail in the subsection “How to download a video from Yandex to your computer,” and then connect your mobile device using a special USB cable and then just download video on a smartphone.
But if you don’t have a laptop near you, you can use the mobile version of the online service.
The actions described in the section about savefrom will be almost identical.
To do this, you will need a Yandex browser installed on your mobile device. First of all, open your browser and, being on the main page, scroll through the news feed to the very end and go to the video section. After selecting the one you need, copy its link and open the site in a new tab. After that, paste the copied link into the “Specify address” line.
After this, the service will start “Thinking” and after a few seconds will offer you a video format and extension available for downloading. Then just click on download and the download will happen automatically in the background.

Inside the keyboard, this utility is designed to scan text using the device's camera: just take a photo, select the desired section of text and click on “Copy” (the process is similar to that in Google Translate).
How to download a picture from Yandex to your computer?
As for downloading a picture to your PC from Yandex photos, everything is even simpler. For this you do not need any additional programs or services. To do this, launch your browser and on the start page go to the pictures section.
After that, enter the name of what you want in the search bar (in my case it’s “Fluffy Rabbits”), then click “Search”, and Yandex will immediately give you all the pictures found that match that description. When you find the photo you need, click the mouse to open it in full screen.
Next, click on the corresponding image resolution icon, then select the available one from the proposed list and after that the picture will open in a new tab in its full size.
Now go to the tab that opens and right-click on the picture and select “Save Image As” in the context menu that opens. Next, in the window that appears, select a location to save the image on your PC and click “Save.”
Now this “cute bunny” is on your computer.
Using Third Party Applications
It is much easier to use third-party applications to set wallpaper. There are a lot of them developed for the Android operating system. The database of each application stores many images divided into categories. All you have to do is select a picture and set it as wallpaper. The program will do the rest for you. Let's look at your actions using the HD Wallpapers application as an example:
Step 1. Install and run the program.
Step 2. Click on the "Browse" button. You can also log in to the application - then it will learn to remember your settings when moving from one device to another.
Step 3. Now you can select the picture you want to put on your home screen. To do this, you can browse through categories, see the most recently added images, and see what users have chosen.
Step 4. When you find a suitable option, click on the red button. The program also allows you to like a picture, comment on it, download it to your smartphone and connect it to a contact.
Step 5. Crop the picture the way you want. After that, click on the “tick”.
That's all! There are other similar applications. Their functionality is similar - only the images themselves, stored on the server, differ.
How to download an entire photo album from Yandex
If you have personal photos or pictures that are thrown into an album in which there are too many photos in order to sit and download them one by one, it will be easier for you to download the entire album from Yandex photos.
The method is non-standard and at first glance may seem quite confusing. But don’t worry, this is just at first glance, follow the instructions below and everything will work out!
And so, in order to download the entire album, you should extract the html code of the photos from the album. To do this, go to your album and click on “Get code”.
Next, select the necessary photos with checkmarks or mark them all with one click on the “In the entire album” button.
And copy the suggested link to the clipboard.
Then you need to clearly follow these steps:
Open a standard Windows notepad and paste the copied link into it. Then save it in the same way as shown in the screenshot below.
The saved file can be given any name, but the extension must be “html” (in my case it is sva. html ). Also select the file type “All files”.
After that, open your browser and use the key combination “ctrl+O” to open an additional dialog box in which you select the html document you just saved.
After this, all the photos that you previously selected in your Yandex album will open.

Now, after the page has fully loaded, we save it. The keyboard shortcut “ctrl+S”? Call up the save window, in which we enter the following parameters:

What is wallpaper?
An Android wallpaper is a regular image that is constantly displayed on your desktop. The exception is live wallpapers, but we will talk about them below. What then is the difficulty? It would seem that you can download any picture from the Internet and set it as wallpaper! But it's not that simple. You may well encounter cases where the image is stretched in width or height, resulting in it not looking its best. This is due to the fact that you found a photo of inappropriate resolution.
Before searching for a suitable picture, check the display resolution of your smartphone or tablet. The image must have the same resolution. Or at least exactly the same aspect ratio.
There are many sites where you can download wallpapers adapted to a particular resolution. You can learn a little more about them, again, closer to the conclusion of the article. For now, let's try to understand how to find out the required resolution and what to do after? The display resolution must be indicated in the device characteristics. Just enter the name of your smartphone into the search and go to the page of this device, say, in Yandex.Market. In the list of specifications you will definitely see the screen resolution. A more complex and time-consuming method is to download a benchmark. For example, many device parameters are displayed by AnTuTu Benchmark. This method is useful if you don’t know or have forgotten the name of your smartphone.
By the way, it is not necessary to select a picture with the resolution you need. If necessary, it can be trimmed by one or another application. It could be some photo editor for Android. Or you can use a computer with GIMP, Adobe Photoshop and other similar programs. When cropping, you should focus on either the resolution of your display or its aspect ratio.
How to download a picture from Yandex to your phone?
The most convenient option would be to download the desired image to your PC and then transfer it to your phone. But still, you don’t always have a computer nearby. Therefore, to implement your plan, click on the picture of your choice. After which it will open in full size. Then click on it again and hold your finger on the touchscreen until a context menu appears in which you select the line “Save Image to device”. After which this photo will begin to download.
That's it, the image you need on your phone.
Important: unfortunately, downloading the entire album from Yandex photos as described in paragraph “How to download an entire album of photos from Yandex” is IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Setting wallpaper through the gallery
You can select and install wallpaper directly from the standard Gallery application. If you choose this option to design the background of your smartphone, then do the following: go to the gallery, find the photo you like and open it. Now press the submenu button in the form of three vertical dots located on the right side of the top panel and select the “Set as wallpaper” item. All that remains is to choose which screen we want to see this picture on:

It is quite possible that on Android devices from other manufacturers the location of the buttons and the names of menu items will be different, but in terms of meaning, I think it will not be very difficult to understand the procedure.
