And, indeed, when you turn on the GO 3 for the first time, you are surprised at how such a miniature gadget is able to reproduce sound without harshness at medium frequencies and even with noticeable low frequencies, which are cut at a frequency close to 110 Hz.

I will also note that the speaker is capable of sounding very loudly, capable of sounding a typical living room, and even at maximum volume there is no wheezing, sound blocking or other parasitic phenomena.

At volume levels up to about 30%, the mids are slightly muffled, the sound seems soft, even velvety.

When approximately 50% of the maximum is reached, the mid frequencies straighten out, the low frequencies gain elasticity, and there is even an attempt to play the punch of percussion instruments efficiently.

At volumes above 70% of the maximum, the mid frequencies take over most of the attention, the sound becomes harsher, roughness appears, and fine details disappear from the sound.

At any volume, the speaker vibrates noticeably when playing sound, and at volumes above 70% you can not only feel it with your hands, but also see it.

Overall, if I sum up the sound of the JBL GO 3, I would note its high quality and unexpectedly high volume. It is clear that one should not expect Hi-Fi sound from such a miniature device, but in its niche the speaker clearly claims to be a leader in 2020.
