Mobile photography has taken over this world, and the photo capabilities of the smartphone have become, perhaps, the main marketing tool of manufacturers in an attempt to sell their new brainchild. Three smartphones were nominated for this category: iPhone X, Galaxy Note 8 and Google Pixel 2.

Do you know why? Because Google treated the buyer humanely and equipped both of its smartphones with equally cool cameras. You don't need to buy an expensive version of the flagship in order to take advantage of the camera's portrait mode, as can be seen in competitors. The Google Pixel 2 camera is equally as cool as the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. It is for this quality that the regular Google Pixel 2, which costs from $650 in the US, deservedly receives a medal as the best photo smartphone.

Starting at $700, the Essential Phone is currently on sale for $450, and if you don't care about the camera, this phone, its specs, its skin and its design are just begging to be bought. I think these companies have lost their way. When we buy a smartphone from a particular brand, we enter into a long-term relationship with this company. Each of us dives headlong into this pool. But what kind of relationship can be built with LG, whose smartphone, LG V30, cannot enter the market? Or with HTC, which has been on the verge of extinction for several years.
