Manufacturers are trying to win over users with original solutions. But they are precisely what Apple has always been famous for. How did the new Apple Watch turn out and in what ways is it superior to its predecessor?

The fourth-generation model was a significant step forward, which can hardly be said about the new Apple Watch. Nevertheless, the Apple Watch Series 4 disappeared completely from the official website, giving its place to a new product.
Apple Watch Series 5 display
Apple Watch Series 5 received the same frameless OLED LTPO display with Retina and Force Touch technologies and a brightness of 1000 cd/m2. But the main feature of the new display is the Always-on display function, which will allow the watch to constantly display basic information on the dial while remaining on with minimum brightness and operating at a refresh rate of 1 Hz.
As soon as the user raises his hand with the watch, it switches to maximum brightness mode. This technology is supported by all built-in watch faces optimized specifically for Watch Series 5 and Workout app screens. At the same time, Apple promises to maintain autonomy at the same level - the watch will work even in this mode for up to 18 hours.

Apple Watch Series 5 case
The watch will be available in two case options – 44 mm and 40 mm. In the first case, the screen resolution will be 368 × 448 pixels, and its area will be 977 mm2. In a 40 mm case, the area will be much smaller - 759 mm2.
This is more by a third than that of the representative of the third generation, but at the same time completely repeats the characteristics of its predecessor . The thickness of the case also remained unchanged - 10.7 mm.
Unfortunately, in Russia the Apple Watch Series 5 will only be sold with an aluminum case, while in some other countries case models made of ceramic, titanium and steel are available.
The aluminum alloy is available in three colors: silver, space gray and gold.

Apple Watch Series 5 hardware
At the heart of the Watch Series 5 is a custom-designed new dual-core 64-bit S5 processor. The speed compared to the third series watches has doubled, but it was exactly the same with the S4 processor, which is equipped with the Apple Watch Series 4 . We can talk about a slight improvement in this important component of the watch. The speaker will be one and a half times louder than in the third model. This will make it more comfortable to work with Siri and receive voice calls. But in this too, Series 5 repeats Series 4 .
Apple Watch Series 5 has 32 GB of internal memory, while Series 4 has 16 GB.

Apple Watch Series 5 features
Apple Watch Series 5 has an electrical heart rate sensor as well as a second-generation optical heart rate sensor.
