The iPhone 7 turned out to be one of the most successful smartphones from Apple over the past 10 years. It turned out to be not only popular among buyers, but also with the largest number of innovations compared to the previous generation iPhone 6.

- Camera: 12-megapixel module, called iSight, with a special True Tone Quad-LED flash (consists of 4 separate LEDs, each of which uses its own thermal tint), as well as a 7-megapixel front camera.

What is the length of iPhone 7 in centimeters? Dimensions are as follows: 13.8 x 0.67 x 0.71 cm. Weight - 138 grams (with factory battery and rubber seals).
The iPhone 7 also received a completely sealed case that meets IP67 specifications. The length in centimeters of the iPhone 7 is only slightly longer than that of the iPhone 6.
According to the manufacturer, after immersing the gadget to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes, it will remain operational (although failure due to moisture getting inside is not considered a warranty case from Apple).
The phone was released in 5 body colors:
- gray (Silver);
- gold (Gold);
- pink (Rose Gold);
- black (Black);
- black onyx (Black Onyx).
➡️ A little later, as part of a charity campaign, a limited edition iPhone 7 in a bright red case was released. The devices were assembled in China at the Pegatron and Foxconn factories.

The best seller was Black Onyx with a glossy case. It looked attractive, but had a significant drawback: the body was easily soiled and quickly became scratched.
And this is despite the use of anodized coating, which is conventionally considered resistant to mechanical damage.

release date
The official release date for iPhone 7 is September 16, 2016. The launch simultaneously covered 25 countries around the world. But the release date of iPhone 7 in Russia is a week later, that is, September 23, 2016.
But the demand for this model was so huge that already on September 17–18 it could be purchased in some stores with a markup of 200–300% of the original price stated by the manufacturer.
And in 2022, the “second” release date of iPhone 7 took place: the sale of refurbished models of this generation of smartphone started on the official Apple website. Moreover, they were also covered by an official guarantee of 12 months. But there is a caveat: the service is only available to US residents.
