Criterias of choice
It makes no sense to describe all possible configurations and types of state employees. For those who don’t know how to choose a smartphone under 10 thousand rubles, we will consider the optimal standards that apply to devices today:
- Operating system. Today, versions from Android 8.1 are still being updated, but it is better to focus on Android 10. The newer the OS, the longer it will take to update applications.
- Cameras. Triple or quad cameras are rare in this category. As a rule, manufacturers limit themselves to dual photo units with a main matrix of 12 to 13 megapixels. In this case, the aperture is usually f/1.8 or f/2. Accordingly, such sensors can produce good pictures only if the scene is illuminated. Models with three sensors, as practice shows, have two 2 MP auxiliary modules, which have a conditional value.
- Memory. In the budget segment, this parameter should not be underestimated. Even with a good processor, the amount of RAM should vary from 2 to 4 gigabytes. The higher the indicator, the more tasks you can perform simultaneously: use instant messenger, surf the Internet, etc. The amount of permanent memory can vary up to 64 gigabytes. It is important that it is possible to increase the ROM using a memory card.
- CPU. The norm is Helio G25, Helio G70, even better if you use Snapdragon 439 or Snapdragon 450. Other types of chips that are found in this class are much weaker.
- Screen. This class includes both small displays and phablets with resolutions from 1560x720 to FHD. If you have a choice, it is better to focus on larger solutions with an IPS matrix. The brightness level can reach 400 nits, which guarantees an excellent picture even when sunlight hits the surface.
ZTE Blade A71
A fresh device from ZTE, which is already well known on the Russian market.
The new product boasts the latest version of Android 11 out of the box, a good 6.52-inch diagonal IPS screen with high resolution, a fingerprint sensor in the power key, an NFC module, and a good-capacity 4000 mAh battery. There is no information about fast charging.
At the back you can find a triple camera setup. What’s unusual is that the manufacturer added a wide-angle module in addition to the main one and a depth sensor - usually in this class “wide-angle” is not found as often as we would like.
- Screen diagonal: 6.52 inches
- Screen resolution: 1600×720
- Weight: 180 g
- Number of SIM cards: 2
- Processor: Unisoc SC9863A
- Memory capacity: 64 GB
- RAM capacity: 3 GB
- Battery capacity: 4000 mAh
- Rear camera: three 16/8/2 MP modules
- Front camera: 8 MP
- Memory card support: yes

HUAWEI Y7
HUAWEI Y7 attracts with a decent camera of two modules of 13 MP and 2 MP and a selfie camera with a fairly large 8 megapixel matrix. In addition, the manufacturer decided to use the popular entry-level processor Snapdragon 450, and this is quite a profitable solution for users, since budget branded processors (Kirin) in this category do not offer the same performance as the Qualcomm product. The positive aspects include a display based on IPS technology. Due to good color reproduction, contrast and brightness, the 6.26-inch screen has received quite a lot of positive feedback from users. The aspect ratio is 19 by 9. While studying this model, you will probably see a lot of good comments about the ergonomics and appearance of the device.
Advantages
- stylish design
- ergonomic body
- good chip
- good screen
- excellent functionality
Flaws
- mediocre sound
Realme C3
A balanced phone that has a good screen, a powerful 5000 mAh battery and a high-performance MediaTek Helio G70 series chip. The main camera consists of three modules, including 12 MP, 2 MP, 2 MP. The resolution of the IPS screen is 1600 by 720 pixels. The truly modern, stylish design is attractive, as well as the modest cutout in the display, which houses a small front camera. Judging by customer reviews, the device fully lives up to expectations: no glitches are observed during operation, even over time. Realme C3 is a modern low-end smartphone with a good camera, a capacious battery and an excellent design.
Advantages
- Battery capacity
- triple camera
- stylish design
- powerful processor
Flaws
- not detected
Xiaomi Redmi 8
All fans of mobile photography are aware that the results of shooting in difficult conditions can be significantly improved with the help of a suitable Google Camera mod. On the one hand, the recommended inexpensive smartphone attracts attention due to the simplicity of installing such an application. On the other hand, it is disappointing that the hardware platform is downgraded in relation to the previous generation of the line (and the price segment under consideration is noteworthy because the power of the single-chip system used may not be enough to quickly perform particularly complex image post-processing). Another factor is the traditional Xiaomi randomization of components. In particular, the main camera of Redmi 8 uses both decent modules with an IMX486 matrix and an f/1.75 aperture, as well as mediocre modules on the OmniVision 13b10i with an f/2.2 aperture. The coolest version is the one with the IMX363 sensor (with a 1.4 micron pixel), but it is aimed at the Indian market, so it does not support B7 and B20.
Advantages
- Easy to install Google Camera
- excellent autonomy
- there is fast charging
- USB Type-C port
- symmetrical design with central chamber block
Flaws
- random configuration
- For comfortable operation of GCam the power of the filling is not enough
- plenty of built-in advertising
- no event indicator (Redmi 7 had one)
TECNO Camon 15 Air
The fact that the Camon 15 Air is an ultra-budget camera phone is directly implied by the manufacturer in its name, where a schematic but quite recognizable aperture is inscribed in the letter 'O'. By the way, the name of the device is deciphered by the brand’s marketers as “Camera is always ON,” that is, “The camera is always on.” This smartphone has 5 photo sensors, which is still considered a record for smartphones in the price category under consideration up to 10,000 rubles. The cool 48-megapixel main camera is accompanied by a module for macro photography, a scene depth sensor and some special sensor that supposedly helps with night photography. It is worth noting that the Helio P22 single-chip system used in the Camon 15 Air is not designed to support cameras with a similar resolution, so here we are clearly dealing with interpolation. However, the recommended model takes really good pictures, and its front camera even boasts an “Ideal Figure” mode, which allows you to give your silhouette the desired slimness.
Advantages
- There is a high-resolution shooting mode
- 8x digital zoom
- interesting options for beauty work
- dual-band Wi-Fi
- excellent autonomy
Flaws
- mediocre sound from multimedia speaker
- Applications are not transferred to the memory card
- long charging time
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro
A smartphone with a good camera and a powerful battery is a model of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro series. This gadget boasts of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 series chip, which is a level higher than its competitors. Among other things, the large matrix of the main camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels is pleasing. There is an additional 5 MP wide-angle lens. The screen uses a 5.84-inch IPS screen. The frameless design is perfectly complemented by a modest but fairly clear front camera. Redmi 6 Pro is a higher (mid) class smartphone, the only drawback of which is its outdated OS.
Advantages
- camera quality
- good screen
- functionality
Flaws
- not a new model
realme C11 2022 2/32GB
Like many other smartphones of the company, realme decided to update one of its most budget models on the Russian market - C11, which is now called C11 2022. What's new?
There are quite a lot of differences. For example, a new bright blue color has appeared, and the Go edition based on Android 11 is now used as the firmware. The dimensions have changed slightly, but the smartphone has become lighter.
An important difference is the new chipset: now it is UniSoC SC9863 instead of MediaTek Helio G35. Cheaper? Yes, besides, the main camera is now single. However, there is a nuance: at the same price of a smartphone, an NFC sensor has appeared.
The powerful 5000 mAh battery and a good camera for its segment have not gone away.
- Screen diagonal: 6.5 inches
- Screen resolution: 1600×720
- Weight: 190 g
- Number of SIM cards: 2
- Processor: UniSoC SC9863
- Memory capacity: 32 GB
- RAM capacity: 2 GB
- Battery capacity: 5000 mAh
- Rear camera: 8 MP
- Front camera: 5 MP
- Memory card support: yes
The best smartphones under 10,000 rubles with a good battery
vivo Y12
An affordable smartphone for undemanding buyers. The phone is available in burgundy red and sea green colors. Both options look cool and have a distinct gradient. The device is assembled to a solid standard, but it’s better to immediately place the case in a case to protect it from scratches. On the back of the device there is a main triple camera. It includes modules of 13, 8 and 2 megapixels. In good lighting, the user can take relatively good shots. Indoors and at night you can't expect good results from the vivo Y12. The 8 MP front camera also takes average pictures. The phone's screen has a diagonal of 6.35 inches and an atypical resolution of 1544×720 pixels. There are no complaints about its color reproduction, but I would like more brightness. The mobile phone's hardware is quite modest (Helio P22 with PowerVR GE8320 graphics), so even when working with undemanding tasks it can become thoughtful.
Advantages
- fast fingerprint scanner
- attractive colors
- long battery life
- operation of wireless modules
- Case and film included
- fast charging function
Flaws
- no notification indicator
- terrible external speaker
HUAWEI Y6p (NFC)
If, when choosing a smartphone under 10,000 rubles with a good battery, you do not consider it essential that it contains Google services, pay attention to this model. Huawei's proprietary custom shell boasts a very interesting set of features that have no direct analogues among its competitors. For example, using screen capture mode it is easy to prevent switching to other applications. I started a cartoon, gave the smartphone to a small child and you don’t worry that he will get into the wrong place somewhere. Y6p is also interesting due to the presence of an NFC module, although the functionality of the latter is limited for known reasons. Among other shortcomings, Bluetooth without the aptX codec and single-band Wi-Fi deserve mention. As for the battery, the owners of this smartphone write about one and a half to two days of autonomy or about 10 hours of active screen.
Advantages
- convenient software features
- support for contactless payment systems
- loud speaker
- FM radio works without connecting headphones
- relatively new version of Bluetooth
Flaws
- no Google mobile services
- single band Wi-Fi
- critical of the choice of wired headphones
- There is no aptX codec for wireless headphones
ULEFONE Armor X5
For hunters, fishermen, builders and representatives of other professions with a high level of risk, Ulefone regularly releases chic rugged phones. This is confirmed by the good shock-resistant budget smartphone of the Armor X5 series, which meets the IP68/IP69K protection class, as well as the MIL-STD-810G certificate. Accordingly, protection from moisture, dust and falls from height is implemented. The entry-level MediaTek chip is responsible for performance. However, an 8-core processor is enough to perform basic tasks. The screen has a resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels. The display size is 5.5 inches. It's nice to have an NFC module, which allows you to make contactless payments. The main camera has two modules of 13 and 2 megapixels. The selfie camera has a simple 5-megapixel module.
Advantages
- clear screen
- fall protection
- ergonomic body
- battery life
- stylish design
Flaws
- not detected
DOOGEE S40
Based on the name of the manufacturer and the image, we can already conclude that we are talking about a good budget shock-resistant smartphone up to 10 thousand, which, by the way, also pleases with its long battery life. This is due to the presence of a powerful 4650 mAh battery. At the same time, the body of the invention complies with the military standard of protection, which is confirmed by MIL-STD-810G certification. In particular, the high strength is due to the presence of high-quality rubberized inserts, which provide not only a long service life, but also convenience. The phone is really comfortable to hold in your hand, it does not slip out. However, the screen parameters are quite modest: a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 960 by 480 pixels. I'm glad that an IPS matrix is used with a good viewing angle and color rendition. The main camera is unlikely to allow you to take high-quality pictures, but its presence is still pleasing - it uses two sensors of 8 and 5 megapixels. The selfie camera is quite good for the price and is based on 8 MP. There is NFC.
Advantages
- shockproof housing
- good sound
- ergonomic design
- front-camera
- capacious battery
Flaws
- main camera
- screen resolution
Xiaomi Redmi 9C 3/64 Gb (NFC)
Everything about it is great, from a good camera to a capacious battery. Operating time in music playback mode is up to 167 hours, in games – up to 10 hours. You can watch the video up to 21 hours. In addition, the manufacturer claims battery life for 2.5 years without serious loss of capacity. Despite the low cost of the smartphone, its main camera received artificial intelligence and beauty functions. Maximum video resolution is Full HD. The heart of the smartphone is the entry-level Helio P35 processor with support for HyperEngine technology for smooth gaming experiences. RAM capacity – 3 GB, user memory – 64 GB.
Advantages
- Fingerprint recognition in 0.3 seconds
- NFC for payments and travel
- Quick application launch
Flaws
- Outdated micro-USB
- Advertising in system applications

The front camera has a good sensor with a resolution of 8 megapixels. The main camera is equipped with a dual module of 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels, and 2 megapixels. There is a built-in module for contactless payments. It is worth emphasizing the good performance of the depth sensor, which is generally rare for the class of budget phones. At the same time, it has a capacious battery and a stylish design. Galaxy A11 is a top-end budget phone in terms of technical characteristics, but the screen is built on a PLS TFT LCD, which is worse than an IPS matrix.
Advantages
- good selfie camera
- main camera
- depth sensor quality
- good performance
- 4000 mAh battery
Flaws
- screen on PLS TFT LCD

TECNO Pouvoir 4
It is absolutely not necessary to take a PowerBank with you to stay connected for a long time. The recommended smartphone from the Chinese brand Tecno is capable of lasting a couple of days of moderate load on its own energy reserves, and it cannot even be called heavy. The phone weighs 164 g, which is surprising for a model with a 6 thousand mAh battery. Pouvoir 4 stands out from its competitors in several ways. Firstly, stereo speakers, which, combined with a huge screen, make this inexpensive smartphone a good choice for watching videos. Secondly, a decent set of wireless interfaces (Bluetooth v5 perfectly holds the signal of the same headphones or bracelet, Wi-Fi Dual Band is optimal for apartment buildings, LTE Cat.7 provides a good high-speed data transmission channel). Thirdly, a thoughtful and convenient user shell with customizable gestures and a special game mode. Of course, the performance of the Pouvoir 4 hardware is not very good, but the smartphone can optimize available resources, block calls and auto-brightness, and in games the volume button allows you to easily reassign shooting.
Advantages
- extra-capacious battery
- huge display
- stereo speakers
- dual-band Wi-Fi with VoWiFi support
- fast LTE module with VoLTE support
- quite a modern version of Bluetooth
- convenient user shell
Flaws
- long charging time

Realme C11
A good smartphone under 10 thousand with a good battery in 2022 is the Realme C11 model, the battery capacity of which is 5000 mAh, which is enough for 40 days of standby time. On the front there is a 6.5-inch display, which actually takes up 90% of the front of the device. At the back you can find a dual camera, which includes a fairly large 13-megapixel main sensor, and there is also a 2-megapixel sensor. In good conditions you can record excellent slo-mo video. It is worth adding support for AI algorithms, as well as Chroma Boost technology. Among the advantages of the device is the Super Nightscape mode, which includes special algorithms for processing images at night. The Helio G35 series processor with overclocking to 2.3 GHz is responsible for performance.
Advantages
- powerful chip
- camera parameters
- Super Nightscape mode support
- large display
Flaws
- No
ZTE Blade A51 2/64GB
It's quite easy to confuse the ZTE Blade A51 and A71 - they look very similar in appearance, but in reality they are still different smartphones.
They apparently use the same 6.52-inch IPS matrix and even the same Unisoc SC9863A chipset. However, the amount of RAM is less - 2 GB versus 3 GB in the older version. The camera is also simpler: instead of three modules, two are used (there is no wide-angle module). The fingerprint scanner is located not in the side key, but on the back. The battery capacity is lower - 3200 mAh.
Interestingly, the NFC sensor is included in both smartphones.
- Screen diagonal: 6.52 inches
- Screen resolution: 1600×720
- Weight: 174 g
- Number of SIM cards: 2
- Processor: Unisoc SC9863A

- Memory card support: yes
The best smartphones under 10,000 rubles with good performance
Vsmart Joy 3 Plus
If you are choosing a smartphone under 10,000 for gaming, pay attention to the Vsmart Joy 3 Plus model. The “engine” of this smartphone is the Snapdragon 632 chip, about which we can say that it significantly surpasses all current competing solutions in computing power, with the exception of the Helio G70. If we focus on AnTuTu scores, then Joy 3+ scores about 135 thousand, Realme C3 about 180, and the results of the bulk of their “classmates” are in the range of 80-110 thousand. When applied to games, such indicators allow you to run WoT or PUBG with medium graphics settings and get relatively comfortable FPS values. The recommended smartphone is interesting due to its almost complete absence of heating, although this phenomenon is achieved through moderate throttling. Among other in-game advantages, we note the presence of a solid set of sensors, including a full-fledged gyroscope, a 10-touch display, and a power controller with support for QC 3.0 (18 W). Please note that some Joy 3 Plus owners complain about a very weak Wi-Fi module that does not provide normal connection speeds outside the direct line of sight of the router. On the other hand, approximately half of the participants in the profile thread of a well-known forum deny the existence of such a problem.
Advantages
- acceptable gaming performance
- good autonomy
- support for fast charging technology
- NFC module
Flaws
- Possible problems with Wi-Fi
- mediocre quality of camera software

It won't be possible to load it full of applications, but for a gentleman's typing from a browser, clients for social networks and WhatsApp, the performance is sufficient. To make the smartphone more accessible, the developers installed a simple 13 MP camera, a 5 MP selfie camera, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of user memory. The screen is small - only 5.45 inches. Its heart is a MediaTek MT6739 processor with four cores, and the electronics are powered by a 3020 mAh battery.

- Light weight

The best smartphones under 10,000 rubles with a large screen
ZTE Blade A7s 2020
The smartphone has a large screen – a good 6.5 inches, with small frames around the edges, and a miniature cutout for the front camera. The resolution may seem small (1560*720 px), but the high pixel density of 264 PPI corrects this drawback - the image is quite dense, you quickly get used to it and no longer pay attention to minor flaws. The smartphone is built on a Unisoc SC9863A processor, eight cores of which operate at a frequency of up to 1.6 GHz. The amount of RAM in the modern LPDDR4 format is 3 GB, which is excellent (2 GB is not enough). There is 64 GB storage for applications, photos and videos. The camera is also pleasing - triple, with an angle of up to 120 degrees, with a resolution of the main module of 16 megapixels, with artificial intelligence for automatically selecting the optimal parameters.

- Modern USB Type-C connector
- Gesture control
- Face and fingerprint unlocking
- There is NFC for paying for purchases
Flaws
- No fast charging feature

Samsung Galaxy A12 3/32GB
Since its appearance on the market, the Samsung Galaxy A12 has managed to fall in price a little, so now it falls into the section of smartphones under 10,000 rubles.
The color scheme on the Russian market is the same as the younger model A02, but the A12 looks completely different: richer and more interesting. The back cover is corrugated, so there are no fingerprints left on it, and the rear camera has 4 modules at once: the main one, the wide one, the depth sensor and for macro photography. The camera justifies its price.
We note the presence of a scanner in the side power button, a separate slot for a memory card and 2 SIM cards, NFC, a good PLS TFT LCD display, a powerful 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging (15 W charger included).

- Memory card support: yes
Customer Reviews
I.A.
Xiaomi Redmi 9C 3/64GB (NFC)
I don’t pretend to be a professional review; for me, as an ordinary user, it’s an excellent working device in its class and price segment (up to 10,000 rubles). I bought Asus Zenfone 4 Max as a replacement. Performance: for the most frequently used applications (maps, taxis, email applications, news, skype, WhatsApp, small games) more than enough. I haven’t tested it on powerful games because I’m not into it. Camera: it all depends on personal preferences, for me the photos are quite decent, an ordinary modern camera with a bunch of resolutions, Pro mode and normal video quality. Memory: 3 Gb RAM is enough. Internal memory - if you don’t store a bunch of high-resolution photos and videos on your phone, then 64 GB is quite a comfortable amount. Additionally, I use a memory card from my previous phone with a capacity of 16Gb. More than enough. Battery: on average, it lasts about 2 days until almost completely discharged, taking into account Skype calls, watching videos or movies. Functions: a fairly convenient organizer, a search function in the settings, a loud alarm clock, a conveniently located fingerprint scanner, the scanner itself is sensitive and responds quickly. The pop-up menu at the top of the screen is divided into two areas from the front camera: the left one is for current notifications, the right one is for quick access to control functions, I personally, as they say, “got it”, it’s convenient to use, you get used to it quickly. The ergonomics of the phone are good, but again, it depends on who you want. Accessories: easy to find, Yandex.Market is full of options for both cases and protective glass, I took the simplest ones (regular glass, a regular silicone matte case, costing less than 200 rubles), several times the phone fell to the ground from a height of about 1m (fell out of the chest pocket when tilted), flat with the screen down - not a single crack on the protective glass, no scratches. Partly, apparently, it’s luck, but accessories also perform their protective function. Overall, I’m very pleased with the phone. This review is just personal impressions; whether to buy or not is an individual decision. Disadvantages: Some payment terminals may not accept payment via NFC, but in general there are no complaints about the operation of the NFC module.

realme C21 3/32GB
Pros: Thin phone. Doesn't look like a shovel. Fast processor. There is NFS. The screen is said to be the same as that of the C3 and C15, but the difference is felt - maybe it’s in the settings - I can’t say for sure. The camera with artificial intelligence takes good pictures. The battery is a beast: it lasted two days under intense load and still has 22 percent left. I'm shocked! Disadvantages: Outdated charging connector. They could do it for the '21 model, but don't forget that this is a budget phone. Comment: I bought it to replace the broken ZTE blade V9 vita. The most pleasant impressions, especially pleased with the price

HONOR 9A
Comment: I took it for my mom! Mom likes it, so I coped with my task)) Don’t look at the lack of Google Market! All necessary applications are installed from ! The only thing is that there will be no synchronization with Google cloud, numbers are there, backups, etc., but all this can be acquired here too. The numbers themselves are transferred from the old device in a minute maximum. Just forward and open the file! That’s it, then the numbers are synchronized with the Huawei account and that’s basically it!

Samsung Galaxy M12 32GB
Pros: I like the large bright screen, battery, access to almost all the standard features of the Galaxy family, build quality. The price/quality ratio is an excellent smartphone. An unexpectedly good option for everyday tasks. Disadvantages: The phone does not support Samsung Pass, alwaysOn display, and there is also no fast charging at 25W, only 15W. No wired headphones included. There are no most camera modes, only 3-5 out of 10-12 possible, but there are 4 cameras and it is not clear what they are for. It is better to take photographs with the setting at full 48mp, otherwise the photos will be very bad, but at 48 you get good ones. Comment: Overall, I am happy with the purchase, my grandfather will use it, standard functions such as watching YouTube, calls, news, reading books and taking photographs - the phone does an excellent job, the phone holds a charge for a day in active use mode. There are small disadvantages, some of which are not at all clear why they are present, but if you look at the cost, they have reduced it as much as possible and made a cool smartphone in this segment.

ZTE Blade A71 3/64
Pros: Quite a productive device for its price. The finger scanner is finally located at the end, in the power button, now unlocking is faster. Not a bad camera, you can get decent quality photos for social networks. The battery is quite durable, lasting up to a couple of days on a single charge. There is NFS. Disadvantages: The processor is not for toys, which is clear from the price list. Strict packaging without any graphic flourishes, only a paperclip, instructions and charger included, but no bumper. Comment: The device is definitely worth the money. My friends have come across different models of Huawei and Xiaomi, which regularly clone each other. So, on paper, these clones are supposedly more powerful and seem to be able to do anything, but in fact, either applications start to glitch, or overheating begins, apparently cooling is also not their strong point, just like software. That's why I stopped here.

Xiaomi Redmi 9C 3/64GB (NFC)
Pros: Battery life is about 10 hours with moderate use. From 0 to 100 it charges in about 2.5 hours, but 70-80% is enough for me for a day, even though I charge it at ~10%. And what’s also good news is NFC! Disadvantages: Micro USB. Yes, this is a budget device, but the USB-C connector costs a couple of cents more than micro-USB, and the manufacturer deliberately separates flagships from budget devices by the type of connector. Comment: Overall, a good option with normal operating time, average screen and performance, and NFC for affordable money. One of the inconveniences that may emerge is that when you look at a photo while it’s being taken, the quality is quite mediocre, but in fact, when you take a photo, it’s in a greatly reduced resolution and with soap (so as not to load the processor and 3GB of RAM, apparently), but in fact if go to the gallery and just enlarge the photo, the quality will be more than enough.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A 16GB
The phone sank almost immediately, so I had to disassemble the handset several times to clean the cable contacts. I really liked the simple design - the phone can be disassembled in a minute - the back plastic cover has latches, underneath there is a metal frame, to which the boards are screwed with ordinary Phillips screws. Even a child can replace the camera or battery on their own, and the phone is very durable and does not bend in your pocket. Previous smartphones (including the Maze with a metal back cover) constantly had to be unbent, which quickly killed them. This Xiaomi is as tough as an iPhone.

ZTE Blade A71 3/64
Advantages: It is cheap and at the same time from a trusted manufacturer. My last smartphone was from ZTE, and it served me for more than three years, and under unrealistic loads, the children dropped it, and the cat threw it off the table and the back of the sofa. And once a child even sat on it, but the phone still survived! It ended up that the battery died, I decided not to buy a new one, but to immediately update the phone. There is an NFS for paying for goods in stores. While I’m packing up three kids for a walk, I might forget my wallet at home. The camera takes good pictures; it works for at least a day and a half on one charge. Disadvantages: Budget processor, although it performed well in tests. Comment: I was looking for a universal smartphone for home and work. I use only one SIM card, so the compatible SIM card tray was not a disadvantage for me.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A 2/32 GB
Pros: Large screen, clear, bright. Decent amount of ROM and RAM (in its price category). Not the worst camera I've ever seen. In good lighting, quite decent pictures. Good microphone and speakers. The battery is not very bad. Disadvantages: A lot of pre-installed garbage with advertising and other slag, which is very difficult to disable and almost impossible to remove without violating the warranty... so it’s better to put up with it and just not use a number of applications. No fast charging. Comment: For your money, no competition. I bought it in the Yandex application, as the first purchase came out for 7152!!! And 715 bonuses were returned, which I will spend on my next purchase. Those. the phone, figuratively speaking, cost me less than 6500!!!! With such parameters, for such a price there are no phones (fused and assembled from g... noname Chinese phones that work every other time, not counting)!!! This is not a “granny phone” or “suitable for children”, this is a good, stylish phone!

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 4/64GB
Huge screen. The largest one currently offered on the market. There are similar sizes, but in a different price segment. Decent RAM. Flash memory on board is also more than enough. For phone. Although now many mobile-class computers are equipped with such an ssd with the same capacity, and if, like me, you also install a 256 card, then this memory can be filled for a very long time, of course, if you do not download high-quality movies to your phone. But for this I have an external flash drive, which is perfectly readable. The battery lasts for at least a day, if in quiet mode up to two days, in minimum use mode up to 2.5 days. This is during normal operation. If in global energy saving mode, then it’s enough for a week. I conducted such an experiment once. The screen is of quite acceptable quality for me. Performance is what you need. Xiaomi is now very busy with software for its products, so it’s not a problem to screw up your phone with all sorts of nonsense. In general, if you don’t live on your phone all the time, it’s a very good assistant.
How to choose a budget phone under 10 thousand rubles
- Screen . In most cases, modern state employees are equipped with displays with HD+ resolution. Although they don't offer incredible pixel density, the installed screens provide a fairly comfortable experience. In addition, due to the low resolution, good autonomy is ensured and the load on the hardware is reduced. But models with Full HD+ resolution are also available for sale.
- System . Each company offers manufacturers its own shell. Not only the appearance, but also the convenience and sometimes functionality of the system depends on it. For example, Xiaomi is developing MIUI, OPPO and realme use ColorOS, Huawei and Honor come with EMUI, and Samsung is promoting its own OneUI.
- Iron . You definitely shouldn’t count on incredible performance in the price segment up to 10 thousand rubles. Therefore, you need to choose between processor manufacturers. The market is currently dominated by Qualcomm, but in the budget segment MediaTek is more common with its Helio chips, which have a better price-performance ratio. Huawei independently produces Kirin for its phones.
- Memory . It is advisable that the phone have at least 3 GB of RAM. Just 2 GB will not be enough to run a number of even not very demanding applications. As for permanent memory (preferably at least 32 GB), it all depends on the user’s requirements. In any case, pay attention to the tray, giving preference to separate ones.
- Cameras . Ideal cameras are not always available even in mid-price segment models. However, inexpensive smartphones can often take decent photos in daylight. You should pay attention not to the quantity, but to the quality of the installed modules (sometimes just one will shoot better than 3-4).

DOOGEE S35
Probably DOOGEE S35 is one of the cheapest rugged smartphones on our market. It’s all the more surprising to see protection according to IP68, IP69K, MIL-STD-810G standards.
The characteristics are very simple. The 5-inch screen has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The Mediatek MT6737V chip is responsible for performance; the memory capacity is 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of main memory. There is no scanner or NFC module.
It's funny that there is a triple camera at the back. However, you shouldn’t count on the quality of the photo. The battery capacity is excellent - 4350 mAh.

Xiaomi Redmi 9 4/64GB (NFC)
The cost of Xiaomi Redmi 9 may be slightly higher than 10 thousand rubles, but it is worth the extra payment. Want to know why?
Because this is practically a Redmi Note. The main difference is the “own” design of the back cover, but the 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels is familiar to us. The platform has a large performance reserve: MediaTek Helio G80 chip, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. We also already know the battery - 5020 mAh and with support for fast charging.
There is a scanner on the back cover, and it is located under the quad camera. It does not have as high a resolution as the Redmi Note series devices, but the camera can easily be called one of the best in its class. In short, a smartphone with a good camera and battery.
