Pros and cons of an Apple One subscription. Cool idea, but I have questions

What does Apple One actually do?

This is a single subscription that unites all Apple services at once. For a fee, you get access to Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+ and iCloud.

There are two tariff plans:

▪️ Individual: Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+ and iCloud for 50 GB - 365 rub. per month ▪️ Family: Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+ and iCloud for 200 GB - 525 rub. per month

The first one works on all devices under one or two linked accounts. Personally, I found this especially useful since I have two active Apple IDs, split between one for iCloud services and one for purchases and subscriptions.

Apple One works with several accounts at once, that is, it can “pick up” subscriptions to the company’s services from different accounts into a single subscription . Let's say I have Apple Music on one profile, and iCloud and Apple ID data on another - everything is covered by the same tariff.

As soon as you want to connect a second profile in the settings, just go to Settings -> your Apple ID -> Subscriptions and select Apple One. A button will appear at the bottom of the screen to connect iCloud if it is not used on the account you paid for.

Family subscription applies to 6 people. Everyone must be in an iCloud Family.

Apple Music subscription

Greetings, my beloved music lovers! You all know that with the advent of iOS 8.4 and iTunes 12.2, it became possible to listen to Apple Music streaming radio, with many functions, compiling preference lists and other features. Now I want to tell you what Music is, how much a subscription costs and how to get rid of the service if you suddenly get tired of it. Although this is unlikely. But suddenly?

What is Apple Music

First of all, I want to tell you what kind of service this is. Music, as you may have guessed from the name, is a music service in which you do not buy certain tracks and albums/collections, but listen to everything that suits your preferences. Moreover, you can listen to music on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, iTunes (both Mac and Windows versions), as well as Android devices! True, colleagues with a “green robot” will have to wait a little - the program for them will be released a little later...

Personally, I am a fan of rock and metal, and therefore, when I first turned on Music on my iPhone, I chose the styles I needed and my favorite bands. This completed setting up the service and I calmly proceeded to selecting the “wave” that I want to listen to.

And a small addition:

If you open iTunes on your computer or Music on your iPhone, you will see several tabs - For You, New, Radio, as well as Connect. I'll tell you in order what is what:

— For you , these are sets of songs from your preferences. Here I have, for example, rock, metal and something nearby that I should like one way or another.

— New — in this section, judging by the name, new items will be located, and if you want, you can easily switch to any other style if you suddenly want something new
