How to set up VST digital clock: time, date, alarm

If you look at all the offers of electronic watches in stores, the most popular there are devices from the Chinese manufacturer VST. Laconic design, stylish appearance, a large number of options and information - all this had a positive impact on the number of sales. And so, immediately after purchasing the long-awaited device, the question arises: how to set up a VST electronic clock? Honestly, you don't need to do anything complicated, you just need to manually select the time and set the alarm if you wish. And our step-by-step instructions will help you cope with this task.

How to set up an electronic clock?

This is done quite simply. Usually in electronic wristwatches the first button is labeled with the word “mod”. It is needed in order to switch device functions, which include settings. The other button is called "set". It is she who changes the value selected by the first button.

So, to set the time, you need to press the first button. This will cause the number displaying the hour to flash. Now you need to press the second button, and the number will change. When the required value is set, you need to press the first button again so that the minutes flash. They are configured in the same way as the clock, by pressing the second button. Now that the time is set correctly, you need to press the first button again to exit the setting mode.

Sometimes electronic watches have not two buttons, but four. In this case, setting them up is even easier; you also need to press the “mod” button, and then, when the clock numbers flash, press first “set” and then one of two additional buttons. The first (top or left, depending on the model) increases the value, the second - decreases. After this, you need to click on “mod” again and do the same steps with the minutes.

Appearance

Unusual design and sporty style - this is how you can characterize the Led Watch. Their name corresponds to their main function - to work on LEDs.

Those who like to lead an active lifestyle have long noticed them among ordinary watches with a dial and hands.

The black stylish rubber strap looks quite presentable. Both girls and young people will be able to show off such an accessory to their friends and acquaintances.

A special feature of this watch is its bright red backlight, which displays large numbers.

It is also important that there is an attractive Adidas logo at the top of the dial. This will appeal to those who consider this brand their favorite and do not change it.

The glossy black screen looks very impressive. Apart from these elements, the watch has nothing superfluous, only two side buttons. On the one hand, they look simple, but on the other, expensive and high quality.

How to set up an electronic clock if there are even more buttons?

In this case, it is better to follow the instructions. Typically, additional clock buttons call up an electronic thermometer, calendar or stopwatch; they simply display them, but do not adjust them. To configure, you need to press the “mode” button several times, scrolling through function by function. When the required option is displayed, you can begin setting using the “set” button. Electronic watches allow you to configure everything that it contains in this way: time, date, alarm, stopwatch, etc.

Desk clock with LED backlight, alarm clock, thermometer

Good health to all Muskovites!

Today I’ll tell you about one spectacular thing - a table clock with LED backlight (provided to me for free by Tmart.com). I have already seen references to this watch on the Internet, and I liked it in absentia. Now I will try to convey to you what the watch looks like in real life.

Package.

The watch arrived in a regular yellow package. More precisely, in the usual way, but not quite. The peculiarities were that this time the package was sent by Swedish Post. I didn’t feel any particular speed of delivery - 26 days from dispatch to delivery. And secondly, the package was in poor condition. This is putting it mildly... For the first time in my life, I received a package with through wear. Some of them were covered with clear tape, some were not.

I don’t know who to say “thank you” to, Swedish Post or Russian Post...

To be honest, for some reason this packaging made me think that there was blatant junk hidden inside it (to my joy, this turned out to be completely wrong, but I won’t get ahead of myself).

Packaging, accessories

The watch is packaged in a nice cardboard box with color printing. The box is wrinkled, but the watch is intact without damage.

The transparent screen is covered with film to protect it from scratches.

In addition to the watch, the box contained a marker for drawing on the screen and a manual for the great and mighty.
Chinese. There were no batteries included. Judging by the pictures and inscriptions on the box, the watch was made by a company with the creative name Highstar, comes with two backlight colors - blue and green, has a built-in USB hub with 4 slots, is compatible with Windows and MacOS and everything else, contains nothing more , no less, a patent... Wow... The address of the company's website is www.highstar.com.cn. A quick look at the site showed that the company produces quite interesting things, and I would even say designer ones.

Test Drive

The first thing I thought of when looking at my watch was, is it really China? White glossy plastic of the highest quality, evokes sincere respect.

On the front there is an LCD display and a proud “Highstar” inscription.
At the bottom there is a battery compartment for 3 AA batteries, control buttons M, S and two buttons with up and down arrows. There are also two small rubber feet and a third larger one, which doubles as a button for M (switching between modes of displaying information on the display). To change between the modes “clock” - “thermometer” - “year” - “date” - “1 (2. 3) alarm clock” - “birthday reminder” - “timer / stopwatch”, you can press the M button, or you can press on the watch itself, which is quite convenient. button M switches modes in the following order: “clock” - “thermometer” - “year” - “date” - “1 (2.3) alarm” - “birthday reminder” - “timer/stopwatch”

To operate, the watch requires batteries (which is logical) or a USB connection. When connected to USB (the cord, by the way, is 80 cm and IMHO, a bit short), the backlight is constantly on. Without USB, the backlight turns on when you press the clock on top and stays on for 10 seconds. The display was somewhat disappointing. Without backlighting, you can only see what's on it from a short distance. With backlighting, the distance increases, but still, it is small. At the same time, viewing angles are small. Contrast decreases as you move left and right and tends to zero when viewed from below.

The clock runs quite accurately. During the week, no lag or running forward was noticed. The thermometer can display temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. Comparison with another Chinese thermometer showed a difference of 0.2C. I think the accuracy is sufficient for home use.

Alarm clock... There are already three of them. When installing each, you can select a melody. I counted 16 options, among which were “happy birthday to you” and “Katyusha” (patriots and folk music lovers should like it!). I would characterize the quality of the music as “single-voice polyphony.” The sounds took me back to the days when we first saw Montana watches and Pall Mall cigarettes.
